Israel releases 137 activists from the "Global Fleet of Resistance"

According to reports, the 36 Turkish citizens were returned to their country on Saturday, October 4, via a special flight.


In addition to Turkish nationals, citizens from Malaysia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco, Italy, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Jordan were also on this flight.


No information has yet been released regarding the fate of the other detained activists, including Greta Thunberg, the Swedish environmental activist.


It is worth noting that this maritime convoy had embarked on its mission to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The fleet consisted of more than 40 civilian boats and approximately 500 civilian activists who aimed to deliver aid to the besieged population in Gaza.

Israel released 137 activists from the "Global Resilience Fleet," including 36 Turkish citizens, who were detained on October 2.
