Pakistani reporter: Pakistan awaits Trump's approval for regime change in Afghanistan

The journalist wrote on Wednesday (9 Mizan) in a post on the social media platform "X" that Asim Munir and Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) have plans for a regime change in Kabul, which are awaiting approval from the Trump administration.

Quoting his military sources, Adel Raja claimed: "The Pakistan Army General Staff has plans to conduct drone strikes in Afghanistan to escalate the situation and pave the way for broader intervention."

He added that Asim Munir's plans for a regime change in Kabul are still awaiting approval from the Trump administration; however, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is independently and actively pursuing its own agenda.

The journalist stated that while Asim Munir's plans for a regime change in Kabul are still pending approval from the Trump administration, the Afghan Taliban have maintained direct channels with the United States through intermediaries.

Adel Raja had previously stated in connection with a meeting of Taliban opponents in Islamabad that there is evidence indicating that Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) facilitated and supported the meeting. He described this action as part of the Pakistan Army's classic plan for regime change in Afghanistan, adding that the ISI was responsible for providing facilities and accommodations for the participants.

Adel Raja, a Pakistani investigative journalist, says that Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, plans to overthrow the Taliban regime to Donald Trump, the President of the United States.
