Taliban: We have provided two billion Afghanis to deported migrants

Wasiq wrote on (Wednesday, 1 Asad) in a post on his X account that migrants receive food, healthcare services, and transportation costs daily.


This Taliban official stated: "Each member of a migrant family is paid two thousand Afghanis daily, totaling up to 30 million Afghanis per day allocated for this group."


He further claimed that all services, including food, transportation, healthcare, and registration, are provided to migrants free of charge, and this process continues.


Wasiq called on charitable organizations and businessmen to assist deported migrants but made no mention of the critical situation of migrants at the Islam Qala border, an issue that relief organizations have warned about.


It is worth noting that thousands of Afghan migrants are forcibly deported from neighboring countries and returned to the country daily.

Ahmadullah Wasiq, a member of the commission addressing migrants' issues, has claimed that in the past month, "two billion Afghanis have been provided as aid to returned migrants."
