Current Affairs: A young Afghan man was killed in shooting by Iranian border guards

The organization stated in its report that Abdul Manan Noorzai, a 27-year-old Afghan youth and a native of Farah province who was living in Zahedan, was killed in this shooting.

According to this human rights institution, the Islamic Republic's military forces, without prior warning, directly shot at these two Afghan citizens behind the border wall adjacent to Hirmand county.

Based on the report, Abdul Manan Noorzai had previously been forcibly deported from Iran and, after obtaining a passport, intended to return to Iran to reunite with his family.

The report adds that he was shot while crossing the border wall in Nimroz province.

In this shooting, another Afghan citizen was also injured in the leg.

The security authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Taliban have not yet commented on this matter.

However, numerous cases of Iranian border guards shooting at Afghan citizens have been reported previously.

The human rights organization "Halvash" has reported that following the shooting by Islamic Republic of Iran forces toward two Afghan citizens, one of them was killed, and the other was injured.
