British envoy meets Taliban refugee minister in Kabul

The Taliban's Ministry of Refugees stated in a press release on (Thursday, 1 Aqrah) that the British Special Representative has considered the Taliban's assistance to the needy as one of the achievements of this administration.


According to this press release, Britain has allocated four million pounds to the earthquake victims in eastern Afghanistan, which will be distributed to the affected individuals through United Nations agencies.


According to the Taliban, Richard Lindsay emphasized that Britain will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.


In continuation, Mullah Abdul Kabir, the Taliban's Minister of Refugees, stated that the Taliban administration will continue to support Afghan refugees and has planned to build several settlements for their accommodation.

Richard Lindsay, the British Special Representative for Afghanistan, in a meeting with Mullah Abdul Kabir, the Taliban's Minister of Refugees, emphasized a permanent ceasefire between the Taliban and Pakistan and expressed hope that both sides will cooperate to achieve lasting peace.
