Dozens killed in attack by unidentified gunmen in central Nigeria

The French news agency, on Sunday, April 20, confirmed the incident by quoting Nigerian government officials.

The motive and perpetrators of this attack have not yet been identified; however, in the past, groups opposed to the government in this country have repeatedly carried out armed operations.

Further details of this incident have not yet been released.

International media have reported that in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Benue State, located in central Nigeria, at least 56 people have lost their lives.
