Houthis: We will attack ships linked to Israeli companies

The Houthi military spokesperson, on Sunday (6 Asad), emphasized in a televised message that this action is part of the “fourth phase of military operations against Israel,” aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.


The Houthi spokesperson warned that if shipping companies ignore the group’s warnings, their associated ships will be attacked, even if their final destination is not Israeli ports.


Previously, the Houthis have also carried out attacks against commercial and military ships in the Red Sea, as well as targets inside Israeli territory.


The Yemeni Houthis state that their attacks are part of a policy of “supporting the Palestinian resistance.”

The Yemeni Houthi group has issued a statement threatening that, from now on, any ship belonging to companies that cooperate with Israeli ports, regardless of nationality or destination, will be targeted by the group’s attacks.
