According to this report, female journalists from several major Indian media outlets had gone to the Afghan embassy in New Delhi to cover Amir Khan Muttaqi’s press conference; however, the embassy’s security agents prevented them from entering.

One of the female journalists, in an interview with NDTV, said: "We had an official invitation and had fully adhered to Islamic dress code; but the security agents said that they had been instructed that no woman is allowed to enter."

Additionally, the journalists’ efforts to speak with Taliban officials or authorities have been fruitless, and the agents have kept the entrance doors closed to female journalists without any specific explanation.

Indian media have reported that security agents at the Taliban embassy in New Delhi, on Friday, October 11, prevented female journalists from entering a press conference held by Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban’s foreign minister.
