Arbitrary arrests; Taliban arrest Panjshir resident in Kabul

According to sources, this individual was arrested on Tuesday (14 Asad) by Taliban intelligence fighters in the Qasbah area of Kabul.


Sources add that Ansarullah, a native of Karaman village in the Dara district of Panjshir, was arrested by the Taliban without any reason and transferred to the group's 40th Intelligence Directorate.


So far, the main motive for this arrest remains unclear, and the Taliban have not commented on the matter.


Previously, local sources in Panjshir had reported that another resident of this province died in Taliban custody after being arrested and severely tortured.


According to reports, over the past four years, the Taliban have arrested, tortured, and brutally killed hundreds of Panjshiri youths without any charges.

Local sources in Panjshir say that Taliban intelligence has arrested a Panjshir resident named Ansarullah in Kabul.
