War in Gaza; Arab countries call for disarmament and end of Hamas rule

On Wednesday (8 Asad), Arab countries, together with international institutions and within the framework of a conference aimed at reviving the two-state solution for the Israel-Palestine conflict, issued a statement condemning Hamas and emphasizing this demand.

The statement declared that Hamas must end its rule, hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority, and, with international participation and support, take steps toward the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state.

It is noteworthy that international institutions and a total of 17 countries have supported the seven-page text of this statement.

Arab countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, along with the European Union and the Arab League, in a joint statement at the United Nations, called for the disarmament and end of Hamas's rule in the Gaza Strip.
