Civilian killings continue; Taliban kill Panjshir resident

According to sources, the young man was named "Shabriz" and was from the center of Panjshir. He was detained by Taliban intelligence operatives about four days ago. His family received his lifeless body from the forensic department after a few days.


Sources add that severe signs of torture were evident on his body, and one of his eyes had sustained serious damage.


According to his relatives, he had no specific accusations or crimes and was targeted for detention solely because he belonged to Panjshir province.


This comes as similar cases have previously been reported in Panjshir, where several residents of the province have died under torture in Taliban custody, and their bodies were later handed over to their families.

Local sources in Panjshir province confirm that the Taliban killed a young man after his detention and handed over his body to his family.
