America: We stand firmly with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism

The embassy, in a message on the social network X on (Tuesday, 10 November), emphasized that the United States supports the Pakistani government's efforts to ensure peace and stability in the country.


According to Pakistani media reports, following the explosion yesterday near the Islamabad High Court, at least 12 people were killed and 36 others wounded.


The group "Jamaat-ul-Ahrar," a splinter faction of the "Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan," has claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that the explosion took place inside the judicial complex in the "G-11" sector of Islamabad.


In response, the "Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan" (TTP) issued a statement denying any involvement in the attack and stating that it has no connection to the incident.


Khawaja Asif, Pakistan's Defense Minister, reacting to this suicide bombing near the judicial complex, said that "the Taliban have now brought the war inside Pakistan, and no hope should be placed in negotiating with them."


On Tuesday, 10 November, in a note on his X account, he described the attack as a "serious warning" for the country and wrote: "Pakistan is in a state of war."


Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan's Interior Minister, issued a statement announcing that the perpetrators of this attack have been identified and "will face justice for their actions." Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister, and Asif Ali Zardari, the President of Pakistan, expressed regret over the incident, stating that the situation is under close monitoring and the necessary orders have been issued to expedite security operations and provide care for the injured.

The Embassy of the United States of America in Islamabad, condemning the deadly attack on Tuesday in Pakistan's capital, announced that Washington stands firmly with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
