Asian Games final match; Afghanistan futsal team to face Iran tomorrow

This match is scheduled to take place on the evening of Thursday, the eighth of Aqrab, in the country of Bahrain.


The Afghanistan Under-17 National Futsal Team defeated Thailand 9-1 in the semifinal match on Tuesday and advanced to the final of this competition.


Prior to this, the Afghan national players had defeated Uzbekistan 10-2 and the host Bahrain 7-0 in their other two matches in this competition.


The Afghanistan Under-17 Futsal Team is the third team in the history of the country's futsal—after the adult and Under-20 national futsal teams—to have reached the semifinals of a prestigious Asian tournament.

The Afghanistan Under-17 National Futsal Team has become the opponent of the Iran National Futsal Team by advancing to the final stage of the Asian Games.
