Deadly floods in Pakistan; over 650 dead

The authority stated in a statement on Monday (August 27) that at least 920 others have been injured due to the floods during this period.

According to reports, in the past week, large parts of Pakistan have been submerged due to relentless rains and severe flooding.

Pakistani officials have said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Bunir district have suffered the most damage, with a significant number of people killed and injured in these areas.

It is worth noting that this year's monsoon rains in Pakistan have been unprecedented, claiming the lives of hundreds or injuring them.

Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority has announced that at least 657 people have lost their lives across the country due to severe flooding since June 26.
