Pakistani army says 13 insurgents killed on Afghan border

According to the Pakistan Army, these two operations took place on Wednesday, 9 Mizan, in the districts of Quetta and Kech.

The Pakistan Army announced that in the operation in Quetta, 10 members of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan were killed.

The statement added that in another operation in Kech district, a terrorist hideout was destroyed, and three militants were injured.

The Pakistan Army identified the deceased as members of the “Fitna” group, which typically refers to the Balochistan Liberation Movement.

Pakistan claims that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and the Balochistan Liberation Movement plan and direct their attacks from Afghan soil; however, the Afghan Taliban have denied the presence of these groups in their territory and stated that they will not allow Afghanistan to be used against other countries.

The Pakistan Army stated in a press release that 13 militants were killed in two operations conducted by its forces in Balochistan province, near the border with Afghanistan.
