Shahbaz Sharif: Afghan Taliban attacked Pakistan on India's orders

Mr. Sharif, on Thursday, October 24, during a Pakistan cabinet meeting, stated that these attacks took place while the Taliban's Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, was in Delhi.

Sharif added: "The Taliban carried out this attack under the complete instigation of India, and we were compelled to respond decisively and comprehensively."

The Prime Minister of Pakistan emphasized that Islamabad has repeatedly tried to resolve bilateral issues with the Taliban through dialogue and friendly engagement; however, according to him, these efforts have not yielded results.

He warned: "If a ceasefire is only for buying time, we will not accept it." Sharif stressed that the issues between Islamabad and the Taliban, including the activities of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan on Afghan soil, must be resolved in a sustainable and long-term manner.

Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has accused the Taliban regime of launching an attack on Pakistan at the behest of India.
