Two Afghan citizens executed in Iran

According to the report of this organization, the two Afghan prisoners, who had previously been sentenced by Iran's judiciary on charges of rape, were executed in the early hours of Wednesday, October 28, in Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj.


Hengaw has not released details about the identities of these two Afghan citizens in its report.


Simultaneously with these executions, seven Iranian prisoners have also been executed in various prisons in Iran on various charges.


This human rights organization had previously reported that the Islamic Republic executed 10 Afghan citizens in September of this year alone. According to Hengaw, a total of 187 people lost their lives in Iran's prisons in that same month.

The Hengaw human rights organization has announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran has carried out the death sentences of 9 prisoners, including two Afghan citizens.
