Trump presents 21-point plan to end war in Gaza

According to the provisions of this plan, the first step requires the war to be halted within 48 hours, with some living hostages, along with the bodies of those killed, to be handed over. In return, Israel commits to releasing a number of Palestinian prisoners.

In the reconstruction section, the document emphasizes that humanitarian aid and infrastructure projects such as water, electricity, and hospitals should be distributed under the management of the United Nations and international institutions to prevent the influence of the conflicting parties.

It has also been proposed that a temporary transitional government, composed of qualified Palestinian figures in collaboration with global experts, take charge of Gaza’s daily affairs. This structure is intended to remain in place until reforms are made in the Palestinian Authority.

In the security domain, the formation of a multinational force with the participation of Arab and international countries is on the agenda. According to the document, the Israeli army will gradually withdraw from the Gaza Strip; however, an unspecified peripheral presence will be maintained.

The plan vaguely raises the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state in the future; however, it has faced opposition and skepticism from both Israel and Hamas. Trump, who promised a swift end to the war during his election campaign, claims this document is the closest option to achieving peace and freeing the hostages.

International media have reported that the United States, under leadership of Donald, presented a 21-point document to halt the Gaza war; a plan that includes an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages, the disarmament of Hamas, the establishment of an security, and the initiation of a Gaza reconstruction program under supervision of international.
