Shootings in America; JD Vance calls for increased deportation of immigrants

Mr. Vance said in a statement on Thursday, November 27, that he had faced criticism in 2021 for opposing the Biden administration's policies on admitting Afghan refugees without thorough vetting.

He added: "Many of our voters don't just want words—they want action."

The vice president emphasized that the shooting suspect must first be brought to justice, after which efforts to deport individuals who are not legally in the country should be ramped up.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, President of the United States, described the shooting as a "demonic and terrorist act" and vowed that the suspect would receive "the highest possible punishment." Following these remarks, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that processing of all Afghan immigration requests has been temporarily halted pending the completion of new security reviews.

Following a shooting by an Afghan refugee targeting two National Guard soldiers in Washington, JD Vance, Trump's vice president, called for intensifying the deportation of immigrants from the United States.
