Freedom Front: Taliban have killed more than 200 former security forces members in the past year

On Saturday (25 Asad), the front issued a statement marking the fourth anniversary of the Taliban's return to power, stating that these attacks were carried out in 30 provinces of the country.

The Freedom Front added that after "Taliban morality police violated the dignity of women and the honor of men," its forces also targeted them, and over the past year, 14 Taliban morality police members were either killed or injured in three provinces.

The front also claimed that since the Taliban's return to power, at least 30 women who previously served in the defense and security forces have been killed.

The Freedom Front's statement reads: "Freedom of expression, free media activity, and citizens' right to access information have become a myth. The Taliban have turned the curriculum and educational content of Afghanistan's schools and universities into centers for brainwashing and terrorist recruitment. While school doors remain closed to girls above the sixth grade, their enrollment in Taliban madrassas up to grade 14 is encouraged. This extremist approach both fosters the spread of extremism at the family level and paves the way for forced marriages, underage marriages, and other social harms."

The Freedom Front emphasized that Afghanistan, in complete international isolation, has become a "prison and torture chamber" for soldiers and citizens, while simultaneously turning into a safe haven for regional and global extremists and terrorists.

The Taliban have consistently refrained from commenting on attacks by opposing fronts.

The Resistance Fronts and the Afghanistan Freedom Front announced their existence after the fall of Kabul to the Taliban and have since repeatedly targeted the group's positions in various provinces.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front announced that over the past year, as a result of 88 attacks by its forces on Taliban positions, 225 Taliban fighters were killed and 147 others were injured.
