This incident occurred on Friday (18 Mizan) in the Bajaur region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


No group has yet claimed responsibility for this incident.


Previously, the Pakistani army announced that in a series of retaliatory operations on Wednesday, 30 members of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan were killed in the Kurram region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In the clash between Pakistani security forces and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at least five people, including two security soldiers, were killed and 11 others injured.
