Trump arrives in South Korea on final leg of Asian trip

He is scheduled to discuss trade issues and the situation in North Korea with Lee Myung-bak, President of South Korea, during this visit.


Meanwhile, South Korean state media have reported that North Korea conducted a cruise missile test near the country's border on Tuesday night, October 28.


Trump is also scheduled to meet with Xi Jinping, President of China, tomorrow (Thursday, October 30) on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in the city of Gyeongju.


According to American officials, the focus of this meeting will be trade issues, including the suspension of U.S. tariffs and the regulation of China's rare earth metals trade.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, arrived in South Korea on Wednesday, October 29, as the final leg of his Asian trip.
