Kremlin: Putin has no plans to contact Taliban leaders

Putin's spokesperson, on Friday (13 Saratan), in response to a question about Putin's plans to contact Taliban leaders, stated that no such plans exist at the moment.


However, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian President, emphasized that within the framework of bilateral relations, contacts between Moscow and Kabul will be established at various levels.


It is noteworthy that the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that it has officially recognized the Taliban as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The Kremlin has announced that Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, currently has no plans to contact Taliban leaders.
