US National Guard soldier dies in Washington shooting

This soldier, Sarah Beckstrom, was one of two individuals targeted by gunfire from Rahmanullah Laknwal, an Afghan refugee, and had been severely injured.


Trump added that the condition of the other National Guard member who was wounded in the same incident remains critical, and doctors are working to save his life. This event has once again drawn attention to the security of National Guard forces and immigration policies.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, announced that one of the National Guard soldiers who was injured during the shooting in Washington on Wednesday has died in the hospital.
