The decision of the heart of Europe; France announced that it officially recognizes Palestine

Macron made this announcement on Friday (3rd of Asad) in a letter addressed to Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian Authority.

The French President stated: "In line with our historical commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine."

With the implementation of this decision, France will be the first Western power to recognize the State of Palestine, despite strong opposition from Israel.

Palestine has welcomed this decision and expressed gratitude to France.

Meanwhile, Naftali Bennett, the former Prime Minister of Israel, stated in a note that Macron's remarks about recognizing the State of Palestine, following the "October 7th massacre," are not diplomacy but a "moral collapse."

It is noteworthy that so far, 147 countries, including 75 percent of the United Nations member states, have recognized Palestine as an independent state.

Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, announced that the French government has decided to recognize Palestine at the United Nations General Assembly in September
