deportation of immigrants; Nearly 6,000 Afghan refugees returned from Iran and Pakistan

The commission stated that these migrants entered Afghanistan on Sunday, 19 Asad, through Iran's border crossings and other Pakistan borders.

According to the commission's report, 4,806 individuals were returned from Iran and 784 from Pakistan to Afghanistan.

The detention and deportation of Afghan migrants have been carried out on an unprecedented scale from neighboring countries, particularly Iran, over the past few months and continue to this day.

The International Organization for Migration previously expressed concern about the mass return of Afghan migrants from neighboring countries, calling for the immediate provision of financial resources to the organization to address the needs of returnees.

According to the organization, since September 2023, over four million people have returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan.

The Taliban High Commission for Addressing Migrants' Issues announced that nearly six thousand Afghan migrants returned from Iran and Pakistan in a single day.
