A mullah imam was stabbed to death in Pakistan after beating a child

This incident occurred on Tuesday (17 Saratan) in the Mardan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


According to reports, the mullah imam severely beat a student during teaching. After the child's older brother learned of the incident, he attacked the mullah imam with a knife and killed him.


It is said that the mentioned mullah imam had come from the Bajaur region to the Mardan district and, in addition to leading the mosque, was providing religious education to children.


The exact motive for this killing is not yet clear; however, the police have announced that they have started investigations in this regard.

Pakistani media reported that after a mullah imam beat a child, he was killed by the child's older brother with knife stabs.
