War in Gaza; Israeli Cabinet approves Netanyahu's plan to completely occupy Gaza City

Axios, quoting Israeli officials, reported that Israel will demand the evacuation of approximately one million residents of Gaza City and its surroundings before the start of a new military operation.

According to this report, Israel's security cabinet, after hours of consultation, has agreed with Netanyahu's proposal for the occupation of Gaza City.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, announced on Thursday that he intends to take full military control of Gaza.

He said: "We intend to take control of Gaza, but we do not want to keep it. We only want to have a secure environment, not to govern there."

It is worth noting that since the start of the war between Hamas and Israel, which began in October 2023, more than 60,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands of others have been injured.

The United Nations and human rights organizations have previously accused Israel of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, citing the statistics of Palestinian casualties resulting from Israel's attacks on Gaza.

The plan of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, for the complete occupation of Gaza City has been approved by the country's cabinet.
