Putin arrives in Delhi to attend annual India-Russia summit

The President of Russia was welcomed in New Delhi on Thursday, 3rd Qaws (December), by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.


During this visit, Putin will hold discussions with Indian officials on expanding cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, technology, and culture. Additionally, at the annual India-Russia Summit, the two sides will consult on a wide range of regional and international issues.


This trip marks Putin's first visit to India since the start of the Ukraine war, and he had previously traveled to the country in Qaws of 1400 (December 2021) to participate in the annual India-Russia Summit.

Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, arrived in New Delhi on a two-day visit to participate in the twenty-third annual India-Russia Summit and hold consultations on bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues.
