Ronaldo attends White House dinner with Trump and Saudi crown prince

According to a Reuters report, Ronaldo participated in this meeting, which also included a dinner banquet. The meeting took place as the Saudi Crown Prince is working to restore his global image following the 2018 murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a U.S.-based journalist, and to strengthen his relations with Washington.


Ronaldo, who has scored over 950 goals for clubs and the Portuguese national team, has a contract with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Professional League until 2027; a team that is largely owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football star, attended a meeting at the White House on Tuesday between Donald Trump, President of the United States, and Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
