Human Rights Activists Union: The detention of women and girls is a stain on the Taliban's forehead

The union, on Sunday (29 Saratan), stated in a declaration that the abduction of dozens of young women by the Taliban is a shameful stain on the group's forehead.


Local sources in Kabul reported on Saturday that the Taliban detained dozens of women and girls from the western areas of Kabul and Qala-e-Fathullah. Previously, on Wednesday, nearly a hundred women and girls were detained from the Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul on charges of "immodesty."


The Union of Human Rights Activists has emphasized that the women and girls detained by the Taliban were wearing hijab.
