Freedom Front: We target Taliban agents of the well-known Amr-e-Ma'ruf

On Friday, 27 Saratan, the Front, in a statement condemning this Taliban action, warned that henceforth, Taliban morality police officers will be targeted by the forces of freedom.


The Front emphasized that this Taliban action constitutes a clear violation of women's human rights and an insult to their human dignity.


The Front has called on the country's citizens to avoid approaching Taliban bases and vehicles.


This comes as reports emerged yesterday of the detention of women and girls in the Shahr-e Naw area of Kabul.


The Taliban have not yet commented on the matter.


Previously, the Taliban have detained women and girls on charges of not wearing hijab and not being accompanied by a male guardian, taking them from the streets to security precincts.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front says that the Taliban have once again arbitrarily and collectively detained women in Kabul.
