Powerful explosions in Kabul; Taliban spokesman says fuel tanker exploded

According to the sources, on Wednesday, 23 Miyan, around 3:35 p.m., two very powerful explosions occurred.


Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban, confirmed the incident and stated that the explosion was caused by the detonation of an oil tanker.


However, local sources say that this event took place in the Taimani area and the Sarsabzi roundabout, and Pakistani air forces bombed Kabul again on Wednesday.


Additionally, sources add that before the explosions occurred, the sound of drones patrolling over the skies of Kabul was heard.


The target of this attack is not yet known, and no details are available on possible casualties from this incident.

Local sources in Kabul report hearing the sound of several very powerful explosions in the city.
