Thousands of Israeli soldiers stormed Gaza City

Palestinian media have reported that tanks and Israeli forces have extensively entered the city, forcing Palestinians to flee from their areas.


At the same time, the Israeli army has announced that, prior to the entry of ground forces into Gaza City, the air force and artillery units have carried out more than 150 attacks on the city over the past few days. As a result of these attacks, high-rise towers in areas heavily populated with displaced people in tent camps have been destroyed.


According to published military plans, Israel intends to gain complete control over the entire Gaza Strip, except for a coastal strip, by the end of this offensive.


Israeli forces have repeatedly launched large-scale assaults on Gaza City during the war, leading to widespread displacement and severe destruction; however, each time, Palestinian forces have regrouped. This time, Israel has vowed to take full control of the city, which experts say is now facing famine.


Meanwhile, the number of deaths in Gaza since the start of the war in October 2023 has been reported to be close to 65,000, a figure said to be significantly lower than the actual toll.

On the second day of Israel's ground operation to fully capture the city of Gaza, thousands of Israeli soldiers have stormed the city.
