Three-day industry and culture exhibition opens in Kabul

Organizers say that around 200 booths are active in this exhibition, where industrial products, cultural productions, domestically manufactured goods, and some imported items are on display.

Tasl Khan, head of the organizing company, said at the opening ceremony that this institution has previously held similar exhibitions in a number of provinces and plans to expand the scope of these exhibitions at the national and international levels.

On the other hand, Maulvi Qabil Mohammad Abid, head of exhibitions in the Taliban's Ministry of Industry and Commerce, emphasized the importance of such programs and said that holding such exhibitions can connect industrialists with new markets, provide opportunities for investment, and contribute to strengthening the national economy.

He also added that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has scheduled the holding of 52 exhibitions inside and outside Afghanistan this year.

This exhibition, held at the "Machinery House" grounds, will be open to the public from the 10th to the 12th of the month of Qaws.

Among the displayed products are handicrafts, artworks, edible and non-edible goods, carpets, medicines, electrical appliances, and other domestic productions. However, nothing is mentioned regarding the presence of women at this exhibition or their role in the production or presentation of products.

The National and International "Industry and Culture" Exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday in Kabul. This program has been organized in collaboration with the Taliban administration's Ministries of Information and Culture, and Industry and Commerce, as well as the "TASL" exhibition company, and will continue for three days.
