Hague court rejects Israel's request to withdraw Netanyahu's arrest warrant

ICC judges on Wednesday (25 Saratan) also rejected Israel's request to suspend broader investigations into crimes in Gaza.

However, Israel, which is not a member of the court, has stated that the International Criminal Court lacks jurisdiction to investigate its actions in the Gaza war.

The arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister, and Yoav Gallant, the country's former defense minister, was issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21 for charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza conflict.

Nevertheless, Israel does not recognize the jurisdiction of the Hague court, has denied the occurrence of war crimes in Gaza, and has opposed the issuance of arrest warrants for Netanyahu and its former defense minister.

The International Criminal Court announced that it has rejected Israel's request to withdraw the arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, the country's prime minister.
