Women without burqas banned from hospitals; Amnesty International calls for Taliban accountability

This international organization has stated that this Taliban action will severely restrict women’s access to vital healthcare services.

Amnesty International has added that the Taliban have made life intolerable for women and girls in Afghanistan; according to this organization, women have been nearly entirely eliminated from all spheres of life and their human rights and dignity have been systematically violated.

This organization has called for global solidarity with the women of Afghanistan and emphasized that the world must act in solidarity with the women and girls of Afghanistan, defend their rights, and hold Taliban officials accountable for their actions.

Amnesty International has expressed its concern in a report over the Taliban’s new decision to ban women from entering hospitals in Herat without wearing a burqa.
