Taliban set special hours for exports through Torkham border crossing

According to the ministry's statement released on Thursday, 14 hours daily have been allocated for the export of fresh fruits and vegetables, and 10 hours for other export items.

Officials of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce state that this decision was made in consultation with the private sector, aiming to facilitate the export process, prevent the spoilage of agricultural products, and provide greater convenience for traders.

The statement emphasized that the transport and customs administration of the Torkham crossing has been tasked with cooperating in the implementation of this plan.

The Taliban Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that a new schedule has been established for the export of Afghan goods to Pakistan through the Torkham crossing.
