G7+ representatives call for inclusive government in Afghanistan

The representatives of these countries, on Wednesday, 9th of Miizan, in a meeting in London, reviewed the process led by the United Nations known as the "Comprehensive Approach" regarding Afghanistan.


The statement emphasized that "Afghanistan's success depends on political pluralism and inclusive governance."


The representatives of 13 countries and the European Union also expressed concern over security threats emanating from Afghan soil and challenges arising from cross-border migrations, and stressed regional cooperation in combating terrorism in Afghanistan.


This group also expressed concern over the Taliban's restrictions on education, work, health services, and the ban on Afghan female staff entering United Nations offices, considering these actions a clear violation of the fundamental rights of the Afghan people.

The special representatives of the G7 member countries and the European Union, in a joint statement, expressed concern over the threat of terrorism from Afghan soil and emphasized the establishment of an inclusive government in the country.
