Fragile ceasefire; Three Palestinians killed in fresh Israeli army attacks

According to Al Jazeera, the Zeitoun area in Gaza City and the surroundings of Rafah have also been targeted by attacks from the Israeli army. Al Jazeera's correspondent says the situation for families near the "yellow line," which is Israel's withdrawal line based on the ceasefire, has gone "from bad to worse."

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has announced that around 13,000 displaced families are living in unsuitable shelters exposed to severe cold and floods, and Israel continues to prevent the entry of tents and prefabricated homes.

The UNRWA communications director has emphasized that Israel's restrictions on the entry of essential items, especially in winter conditions, continue unabated. Since the ceasefire agreement began, at least 266 people have been killed and another 635 wounded in Israeli attacks. The total human toll since the start of the war has reached around 70,000.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also stated that he does not know how long the ceasefire will last and that Israel is still awaiting the return of the remains of three of its hostages from Hamas.

The Israeli army has killed at least three people in the eastern areas of Khan Younis in its latest attacks in Gaza. At the same time, heavy rains have caused flooding in the temporary camps for the displaced, and thousands of Palestinians still lack access to shelter and humanitarian aid.
