Humanitarian crisis in Gaza; At least 21 children die of starvation

Mohammad Abu Salma, director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, said on Tuesday, 31 Saratan, in an interview with Agence France-Presse that children suffering from malnutrition are being transferred to hospitals every moment.


He emphasized that the likelihood of an increase in child mortality due to malnutrition and hunger exists.


António Guterres, the United Nations Secretary-General, expressing concern about the dire situation in Gaza, reported an unprecedented level of Palestinian child mortality.


This comes as Gaza residents, amidst Israeli attacks, are grappling with severe food insecurity.

Gaza health officials announced that at least 21 children have died due to hunger and malnutrition in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
