Forced return; 81 Afghan asylum seekers deported from Germany

According to the ministry, these individuals, who were required to leave Germany, were transferred to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, on Friday via a flight from Leipzig Airport.

This is the second time since the Taliban came to power that Germany has repatriated Afghan refugees to their country.

The German Interior Ministry added that the federal government is implementing the provisions of the coalition agreement, which also includes the deportation of Afghan refugees.

According to the ministry, in the first phase, individuals who are criminals or pose a threat to Germany's security are being deported.

Last year, the German government, led by Olaf Scholz, also deported 28 Afghan refugees with criminal records.

The German Interior Ministry has announced that it has deported 81 Afghan refugees with criminal records.
