Doctors mock Netanyahu's conditional proposal to resolve Iran's water crisis due to Gaza blockade

Following this message, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, on Wednesday ridiculed Benjamin Netanyahu's offer to help resolve Iran's water crisis.

Pezeshkian, on his social media page on X, called Israel's claim false and wrote that Israel has cut off Palestinians' access to water and food, and therefore is not trustworthy.

He wrote: "A regime that deprives the people of Gaza of water and food says it will bring water to Iran? It's nothing but a mirage."

Meanwhile, Pezeshkian said on Sunday in a gathering of officials: "We have no water, there is no water beneath our feet, and there is no water behind our dams; we are in a serious and unimaginable crisis."

He added that the government is in contact with experts to find a solution to this problem.

Experts say years of drought and mismanagement of water resources have led to this crisis.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, said in a video message addressed to the people of Iran on Tuesday that Israel would help address Iran's severe water shortage after the country is "freed" from its current government.
