Trump: Ukraine can win war with Russia

On Tuesday, September 23, Trump wrote on Truth Social: "After gaining a full understanding of the military and economic conditions of the Ukraine-Russia war, it is evident that, given the economic problems created for Russia, Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a better position. Ukraine can fight and reclaim all its territory."


This post was published following Trump's meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.


In this post, Trump also mocked Russia, writing: "Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years, while a true military power should have won in less than a week." He claimed that this war continues to put pressure on Russia's economy.


He added: "With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe, and especially NATO, returning to the original borders of the war is entirely possible."


Trump also pledged to continue supplying weapons to NATO, stating that NATO can take any necessary actions to support Ukraine.


At the same time, Trump sharply criticized Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, for resisting the start of peace negotiations.

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated in a message that Ukraine is now in a position in the war against Russia where it can "fight and win."
