Two new literary works by Afghan poet and writer Leyli Ghazal unveiled in a limited cultural space

These two works, published under the titles "Footprint of the Tree" and "Balakhinas," were warmly welcomed in the presence of a group of intellectuals and poetry and literature enthusiasts.

The event was held in collaboration with several cultural institutions, including the "Sokhan" Association, Molana Publishing, and Barg Publications, and a number of cultural and literary figures attended it.

The speakers at the program, while referring to the current state of literature in the country, praised the artistic and content value of these two works and considered them an effective step toward the dynamism of contemporary poetry.

According to some of the speakers, these works offer a fresh perspective on poetic experiences within the context of today's society.

At the end of the ceremony, copies of the books signed by the author were presented to the participants.

This event is taking place at a time when, with the intensification of cultural restrictions by the Taliban, many literary activities have faced obstacles, and the possibility of holding cultural programs freely has largely been eliminated.

In the most recent case, a law titled "Regulation of Poetry Recitations" has been approved by the authorities, based on which the composition of poems with romantic themes has been declared prohibited; an action that has aroused serious concerns among cultural and artistic circles.

In one of the rare literary programs held in the highly restricted cultural space of Afghanistan, two new books by an Afghan author and poet named "Lili Ghazal" were introduced.
