Abdel Fattah al-Sisi: Egypt will not become a gateway for the forced migration of Palestinians

Mr. el-Sisi, on Tuesday (14 Asad) during a press conference in Cairo, said that Israel’s war in Gaza is aimed at keeping people hungry and completely destroying the Palestinian cause.


He added: “The war in Gaza is no longer a war to achieve political goals or free hostages; rather, it has turned into a war of starvation, genocide, and the elimination of the Palestinian cause.”


The President of Egypt emphasized that the Palestinians living in Gaza are facing systematic genocide.


Abdel Fattah el-Sisi added that more than five thousand trucks carrying humanitarian aid are currently in Egypt, ready to enter the Gaza Strip, but Israel has prevented their entry.


This comes as, since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023, more than 61,000 people have been killed and over 150,000 others injured. Additionally, Israel’s severe blockade of Gaza has caused famine among the two million population of Gaza.

Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the President of Egypt, warned about ethnic cleansing in Gaza, stating that he will not allow Egypt to become a passageway for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.
