Trump: Immigration from Third World Countries Will Be Permanently Halted

In a message on the social network Truth Social, he wrote that he will halt all admissions that he considers "illegal" and added that individuals who, in his view, bring no economic benefit to the country or "are incapable of loving America" will be deported from the country.


He has also promised to cut off government aid to refugees and even revoke the citizenship of those who "disrupt internal peace."


Trump has emphasized that any foreigner deemed to be a "financial burden, security threat, or incompatible with Western values" will be deported from the country. He considers these policies essential for significantly reducing populations that he describes as "illegal and destructive" and has stated that only "reverse migration" can improve the current situation.


He has also claimed, with reference to the mass entry of Afghan citizens following the fall of the Afghan government in 2021, that hundreds of thousands entered the U.S. without security vetting. Trump has directed sharp criticism at the Biden administration and said he "will not forget" these mistakes, though he has promised to correct this trend.


Following the recent shooting incident in which an Afghan immigrant was identified as the suspect and which resulted in the death of one National Guard soldier, the Trump administration has tightened immigration policies related to Afghan citizens. The U.S. Immigration Agency has announced that vetting of all immigration applications from Afghan citizens has been halted and that the cases of those who entered the U.S. during the Biden era will be re-evaluated. In addition, reviewing the status of green card holders from countries deemed "concerning," including Afghanistan, has been placed on the agenda.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, has announced that he intends to permanently close off immigration pathways from all "Third World countries."
