UN calls for peaceful resolution of Pakistan-Taliban disputes

Farhan Haq, the Deputy Spokesperson for the United Nations, said in a press conference: "We are monitoring the situation between Afghanistan and Pakistan with concern."


This is the most intense conflict between the two countries since the Taliban came to power in 2021.


It is worth noting that in recent days, clashes between Taliban fighters and Pakistani border forces in several border provinces have escalated to an unprecedented level.

The United Nations, in a statement, called for a peaceful resolution of the recent conflicts between the Taliban and Pakistani forces.
