After 13 years of operation, Radio Nasim's broadcasts in Daikundi and Bamyan have been stopped.

The radio stated on Monday, 20 Asad, in a published statement: "Sometimes the era is more ruthless than it can bear voices."


Radio Nasim expressed hope that with improved conditions, it will resume its operations.


The news of the radio's suspension came after the Taliban group's intelligence agency in Daikundi detained its director and two journalists.
