Ceasefire agreement in Gaza comes into effect

According to this agreement, all reciprocal attacks between Israeli forces and Hamas have been halted, and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from some sensitive areas of Gaza will begin. Additionally, the release of hostages and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip have been scheduled within the framework of this agreement.


This agreement has been implemented at a time when conflicts between Israel and Palestinian groups, especially Hamas, have continued for over two years, resulting in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians.

The Egyptian television network reported that the first phase of the proposed plan by Donald Trump, President of the United States, to end the conflicts between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, has officially gone into effect as of Thursday at 9 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time (equivalent to 12 p.m. Israel time).
